Welcome to the home page for MATA36H.
The Course text is Single Variable Calculus - Early Transcendentals, 6th Edition, James Stewart. It is important that you are enrolled into a tutorial as you will have to produce then and there the weekly piece of work to be marked (your solution to a quiz, at the TA's discretion). If you are not enrolled in the tutorial, where you hand in that work, it cannot be guaranteed that the result will be credited to you! Assignments will be posted on this web site every week. In the tutorial the students will be asked to write a short quiz. My new office hours are as follows: Tuesdays 2:10-3:40 and Thursdays 3:10-4:20, both in IC446 (my office). (The former Wednesdays 1-3 office times are now deleted).
Lecture Times: Tuesday 10:00-12:00, Thursday 12:00-1:00 in IC220 Quizzes & Assignments: Practice assignments and solutions will be posted at the website . You will have a quiz in class on mateiral relevant to the past week's assignments, lectures or the text.
Calculators: Any calculator that is similar in computing power to the following models will be permitted. Calculators that store large amount of text are not permitted. If in doubt, ask your professor. |
